Former UFC Champ Benson Henderson Re-Signs With Bellator, Faces Peter Queally At Bellator Dublin Event In September

Former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson has re-signed a new multi-fight deal with Bellator.

The promotion officially announced the news via a tweet, confirming the new deal for Henderson but not revealing specific details regarding the contract. It was also reported by The Sun's Niall McGrath that Henderson will face Irishman Peter Queally in the promotion's return to Dublin, Ireland on September 23. The 38-year old Colorado Springs, Colorado native has gone 6-6 in his 12 Bellator appearances since signing with the company back in February 2016. He'll look to build on a split-decision victory over Islam Mamedov at Bellator 273 in his latest outing. Queally meanwhile is 2-2 in his last four fights and will try to bounce back from a second-round TKO loss to current Bellator lightweight champion, Patricky "Pitbull" Freire, at Bellator 270.
