Undefeated lightweight champions George Kambosos Jr. and Devin Haney, are scheduled to meet in an undisputed title unification bout on June 5 at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.
ESPN's Mike Coppinger was the first to report the news of the matchup, revealing Haney has signed a multi-fight co-promotional deal with Top Rank and Lou DiBella to fight exclusively on ESPN platforms. Haney's deal also includes a rematch clause if he is to defeat Kambosos Jr. according to Coppinger's report, with any potential second fight being held in Australia as well. The promotion has yet to officially announce anything regarding the bout though.

Kambosos Jr. is the current IBF, WBA, and WBO belt holder and is 20-0 as a pro. He defeated former unified lightweight champion, Teófimo López, via a split-decision in his most recent appearance last November. Haney meanwhile is the longtime WBC belt holder and stands at 27-0 currently as a pro. He will try to build on a unanimous decision victory over former IBF and WBC featherweight champ Joseph Diaz Jr. in his latest fight back in December.
