John Lineker was set to fight Cory Sandhagen next weekend at UFC Fight Night Brooklyn, but the fighter would suffer an injury and get pulled from the bantamweight division encounter.
The fighter has now taken to Twitter to apologize for missing next weekends historic event:
I am sorry I wont be fighting on the upcoming jan 19th card.

Mario Bautista would get the opportunity to replace Lineker against Sandhagen and Bautista does so while making his UFC debut. Bautista does enter the bout as an undefeated professional MMA fighter, holding a record of 6-0-0.
