UFC Interim Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson was forced to pull out of UFC 223 after suffering a knee injury and UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway has replaced him against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The top contender in Nurmagomedov has now taken to Instagram to issue a statement on the madness surrounding UFC 223, while also providing a warning to Ferguson:
Nate Diaz hasn’t been seen in the Octagon since UFC 202, plus he has no fight history against the trio of Ferguson, Holloway or Nurmagomedov.
Despite all of that non-history with that trio, it didn’t stop Diaz from also issuing a statement on Twitter about the UFC 223 main event change:
Lol these guys can't even make it to war..
