Khabib Nurmagomedov Wants Conor McGregor To “Play Like A Man”

MMA

UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated Al Iaquinta in the main event of UFC 223 to win the gold, which was stripped from Conor McGregor prior to the event.

Also, prior to UFC 223, a bus full of UFC fighters that included Nurmagomedov was attacked by McGregor and his hoodlum friends in an alleged attempt to get at Nurmagomedov.

Nurmagomedov is back in his home country observing Ramadan and he has decided to give a message to McGregor.

That message was delivered via Instagram:

When you see him, tell him: Conor the game has changed, now you have to play like a grown up man, there will no longer be locked buses with security inside and outside, now you have to solve these problems alone, and if you do not want it, just say so, everybody will understand. #ufc #lightweightchampion #mma #sendmelocation

McGregor has been hinting at a return to the UFC in recent weeks and UFC President Dana White stated that he is meeting with the Irishman to discuss potential future plans.

There is no word at this time as to whether or not those potential future plans include a bout against the UFC Lightweight Champion.

Ramadan will end around the middle of June, which means the UFC Lightweight Champion is going to be free to defend the strap from that point on.
