In tragic news kickboxer Joel Cahuasqui passed away at the age of 25 after suffering a knockout loss due to a head kick.
The unfortunate incident happened at the Kickboxing National Selective and Pacific Cup Championship in Ecuador where Cahuasqui died on April 1 from a brain hemorrhage he suffered because of the kick according to media outlet El Norte, there were apparently no paramedics or medical assistance ringside for the contest. Ecuadorian reporter Alberto Astudillo B. shared a video of the fight and kick that landed on Cahuasqui via his Twitter page.
