A welterweight division encounter is the latest addition to the Bellator 197 card as Logan Storley is going to be in action against Joaquin Buckley.
Storley (7-0-0) has already earned two victories under the Bellator MMA banner, having defeated the duo of Kemmyelle Haley and Matt Secor. Storley has seen just one of his seven professional MMA bouts go the distance and that came against the aforementioned Matt Secor at Bellator 186. Storley also earned four victories in the Resurrection Fighting Alliance, winning all four of those bouts by KO/TKO.
Buckley (8-1-0) has won three of four fights in Bellator MMA competition, defeating the trio of Chris Heatherly, Justin Patterson and Vinicius De Jesus. Buckley also competed five times in the Shamrock MMA promotion, earning four of those five victories by way of KO/TKO. Buckley has only suffered a single defeat thus far as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Jackie Gosh by first round TKO at Bellator 164 in November of 2016.
Bellator 197 takes place on Friday, April 13 from the Family Arena in St. Louis, Missouri with Brent Primus and Michael Chandler headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
