A bantamweight division attraction is the latest addition to UFC 248 as Movsar Evloev is in action against Douglas Silva De Andrade.
The UFC announced the bout via Instagram, but its spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Evloev (12-0-0) has already picked up two wins under the UFC banner, with those coming over Seung Woo Choi and Enrique Barzola. Evloev is a former M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Champion, defeating Pavel Vitruk to win the gold at M-1 Challenge 81. Evloev has competed a total of twelve times as a professional MMA fighter and five of those bouts went the distance.
De Andrade (26-3-0-1NC) has won two of his last three in the UFC, with those victories coming over the duo of Marlon Vera and Renan Barao. De Andrade is a former Super Pitbull Fight Bantamweight Champion, defeating pave by unanimous decision at SPF 9 to win the gold. De Andrade has suffered three losses as a professional MMA competitor and all of them came in the UFC.
UFC 248 takes place on Saturday, March 7 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Israel Adesanya and Yoel Romero headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
