New HD Security Footage Shows Conor McGregor Destroying Person’s Cellphone

MMA

Former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor was arrested last month in Miami, Florida after allegedly grabbing a person’s cellphone outside of a nightclub before smashing it on the ground.

There has already been footage released of the incident from a person’s cellphone, but new high definition footage from a security camera has been obtained by TMZ Sports.

HD video of the footage can be found below:

The footage shows McGregor walking towards the entrance on the LIV Nightclub, where he approaches Ahmed Abdirzak before slapping the cellphone out of his hand and then stomping on it. A different security camera catches McGregor getting into an SUV and driving off.

Abdirzak would file a civil suit against McGregor, but that suit has since been dropped, but McGregor was due in court today for arraignment on criminal charges.

MMA Mania has reported that McGregor has pleaded not guilty to the charges levied against him, which include robbery by sudden snatching and misdemeanor criminal mischief due to the value of the phone. McGregor was originally charged with one count of strong-arm robbery and one count of criminal mischief valued at $1,000 or more dollars, but those charges were downgraded earlier this week.
