Reports recently surfaced through the Twitter account of Shawn Bitter (@mmawizard), who writes for Combat Docket, that registered sex offender Kyle Noblitt would be competing on the first ever Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders Series.

However, according to a statement by UFC Vice President Of Communications Lenee Breckenridge, the sex offender is not competing on the show or any other UFC event.
"UFC confirms that Kyle Noblitt will not be appearing on DWTNCS. All athletes applying for the series must successfully complete a rigorous background check,” Breckenridge wrote to Bloody Elbow.
Noblitt was charged with sexual abuse of a 29 year old woman in 2012. He would eventually be sentenced to 7 years in prison by a Missouri court. However, the fighter would only serve a short amount of that sentence because the courts would grant him a suspended execution of the sentence on July 1 of 2016.
The fighter was also ordered to wear a GPS unit around his ankle, but is allowed to remove it when he is training for MMA fights.
Earlier this year, the registered sex offender spoke with Knuckle Junkie about his past legal issues:
“I was charged with a crime and threatened with 18 years behind bars for something I was accused of and eventually found not guilty of,” said Noblitt. “I ended up serving four months, which is not much, but it changed my life.”
Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders Series debuts in just a few short weeks, no fights have been announced as of this writing.
