A featherweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 238 as Aaron Pico is in action against Daniel Carey.
ESPN first reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn’t known at this time.
Pico (4-3-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Henry Corrales and Adam Borics. Pico has competed a total of seven times as a professional MMA fighter and only one bout went past the opening round. Pico entered professional MMA in June of 2017 and has spent his whole career in Bellator MMA.
Carey (7-3-0) has won three of five under the Bellator MMA banner, with those wins coming over Cris Lencioni, Aaron Webb and Gaston Bolanos. Carey is competing twice in 2019, making it his least active year as a professional MMA fighter since 2016. Carey has competed ten times as a professional MMA fighter and four of those bouts went the distance.
Bellator 238 takes place on Saturday, January 25 from The Forum in Inglewood, California with Julia Budd and Cyborg headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
