A lightweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 242 as Adam Piccolotti is going to be in action against Sidney Outlaw.
Amy Kaplan of Fansided first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Piccolotti (12-3-0) has won three of his last four under the Bellator MMA banner, with those wins coming over Carrington Banks, James Terry and Jake Smith. Piccolotti has suffered a total of three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came in Bellator MMA competition. Piccolotti has picked up twelve wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of submission.
Outlaw (14-4-0) has won two of three in Bellator MMA competition, with those wins coming over Mike Bannon and Roger Huerta. Outlaw has had two runs thus far in Bellator MMA, with a four-plus year gap in between runs one and two. Outlaw has earned fourteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them came by way of submission.
Bellator 242 takes place on Saturday, May 9 from the SAP Center in San Jose, California with Ryan Bader and Vadim Nemkov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
