Alan Patrick faces Rodrigo Vargas will square up at UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Teixeira as

Patrick (15-2-0) has won three of his last five under the UFC banner. Those winsare over Damien Brown, Stevie Ray and Damir Hadzovic. Patrick is also competing for the first time in almost two years. His last apperance was at UFC 229 in October 2018. Patrick’s two losses as a professional MMA fighter came against UFC fighters Mairbek Taisumov and Scott Holtzman.
Vargas (11-4-0) is winless thus far in UFC competition, dropping bouts to Alex Da Silva Coelho and Brok Weaver. Vargas has not earned a victory in over two years, last beating Mike De La Torre at Combate Americas: Mexico vs. The World. Vargas has competed a total of 15 times as a professional MMA fighter and just three of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Teixeira takes place on Saturday, September 12 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Light-heavyweight contenders Thiago Santos and Glover Teixeira will headline. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event. Broadcast plans have not been revealed.
