A pair of threats are reportedly making their way to the Bellator bantamweight and featherweight division, as the promotion has apparently inked Jared Scoggins and Jeremy Kennedy to deals.
MMA Junkie first reported the Kennedy signing, while MMA Fighting first reported the Scoggins signing. Scoggins (10-1-0) is the current CFFC bantamweight champion, but the fighter will now relinquish the title now that he has signed with Bellator. Scoggins is the brother of UFC veteran Justin Scoggins and he’ll enter the promotion riding a five fight winning streak.
Kennedy (15-2-0-1NC) enters Bellator having won two of his last four bouts with those wins coming over the duo of Steven Silver and Luis Rafael Laurentino. Kennedy has won three of four under the UFC banner, with those victories coming over Alessandro Ricci, Rony Jason and Kyle Bochniak.
There is no word at this time as to when either fighter will make their promotional debut or whom those bouts will come against.
