A new threat is apparently making his way to the Bellator heavyweight division as the promotion has signed Juse Augusto to a multi-fight contract.

Augusto (6-2-0-1NC) enters the promotion riding a four fight winning streak, picking up victories over Rodrigo Ro, Emanuel Silva, Jose Aparecido Santos Gomes and Vinicius Lima. Augusto hasn’t competed in just over a year, with his last professional MMA fight happening in September of 2019. Augusto has competed a total of nine times as a pro MMA fighter and none of his bouts have gone to the judges scorecards. Augusto has picked up five of six wins by KO/TKO, with another win coming by way of submission.

There is no word at this time as to when Augusto will make his promotional debut or whom that bout will come against.
