Two more fights have been added to the upcoming Bellator 220 card according to ESPN as Ben Henderson faces Adam Piccolotti and Phil Davis faces Liam McGeary for a second time.
Henderson (26-8-0) will enter the contest while riding a two fight winning streak, having defeated the duo of Saad Awad and Roger Huerta. Henderson is a former UFC Lightweight Champion, defeating Frankie Edgar at UFC 144 to claim the gold.
Piccolotti (11-2-0) will also enter the bout while in the midst of a two fight winning streak, defeating a pair of fighters in Carrington Banks and James Terry. Piccolotti has seen five of his professional MMA bouts go the distance, with the fighter winning four of those encounters.
Davis (19-5-0-1NC) has won two of his last three under the Bellator MMA banner, with those wins coming over Leo Leite and Linton Vassell. Davis won the first encounter between he and McGeary, with that victory coming at Bellator 163, a victory that saw Davis capture the Bellator Light Heavyweight Title.
McGeary (13-3-0) has won just one of his last three in Bellator MMA competition, with that win coming over KIng Mo at Bellator 213. McGeary is also a former Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion, defeating Emmanuel Newton to win the gold at Bellator 134.
Bellator 220 takes place on Saturday, April 27 from the SAP Center in San Jose, California with Rory MacDonald and Jon Fitch headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on DAZN.
