A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Minneapolis according to the Star Tribune as Chas Skelly is in action against Jordan Griffin.
Skelly (17-4-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Jason Knight and Bobby Moffett. Skelly hasn’t picked up a win in over two years, with that last win coming against Chris Gruetzemacher at UFC Fight Night 104. Skelly has picked up seventeen victories as a professional MMA fighter and ten of them came by way of submission.
Griffin (17-6-0) is winless under the UFC banner, with that loss coming against Dan Ige via unanimous decision at UFC On Fox 31. Griffin competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 15, defeating Maurice Mitchell by way of first round submission. Griffin is also a former Revelation Fight Organization Featherweight Champion and a former Dakota FC Featherweight Champion.
