A heavyweight attraction has been added to UFC 252 as Chris Daukaus fights Parker Porter.
MMA Junkie first reported the bout, which is expected to be a part of the preliminary card.
Daukaus (8-3-0) will make his UFC debut and is also returning to action after a year-plus layoff. Daukus previously lost to UFC veteran Azunna Anyanwu. Daukaus has competed 11 times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
Porter (8-5-0) is also making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so while riding a two-fight winning streak. Porter competed twice in Bellator MMA, defeating Eric Bedard and suffering a defeat to Josh Diekmann. Porter has not been defeated in almost two years with that last loss coming to Keith Bell at CES MMA 53 due to illegal strikes.
UFC 252 takes place on Saturday, August 15 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada and airs live on pay-per-view. Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier headline the card. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event.
