Report: Danny Chavez vs. Jared Gordon Slated For 2/20 UFC Event

A featherweight division attraction has been added to the February 20 UFC card as Danny Chavez faces Jared Gordon.

Chavez (11-3-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated TJ Brown by unanimous decision at UFC 252. Chavez also enter the encounter on the strength of a four fight winning streak and he hasn’t been defeated in over four years. Chavez has picked up eight of 11 wins by way of decision, with the remaining three coming by KO/TKO.

Gordon (16-4-0) has won two of his last five in the UFC, with those wins coming over the duo of Dan Moret and Chris Fishgold. Gordon is a former CFFC featherweight champion, defeating Bill Algeo by unanimous decision at CFFC 63 to claim the gold. Gordon has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came by way of KO/TKO.

The yet to be announced UFC card is set for Saturday, February 20 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
