Vicente Luque needed a new opponent for UFC Fight Night Rochester and now he has one according to Nolan King of Flo Combat as Derrick Krantz has agreed to replace Neil Magny.
Luque (15-6-1) enters the contest while in the midst of a four fight winning streak, defeating the four pack of Niko Price, Chad Laprise, Jalin Turner and Bryan Barberena. Luque hasn’t suffered a defeat in over two years, with that last loss coming to Leon Edwards via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 107 in March of 2017. Luque has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter, but none of those defeats came by way of KO/TKO.
Krantz (22-10-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a two fight winning streak. Krantz is a former Legacy Fighting Alliance Welterweight Champion, defeating Ben Neumann to win the gold at LFA 12. Krantz has suffered eight losses as a professional MMA fighter and five of them have come to UFC and/or Bellator MMA veterans.
