A lightweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 254 as Goiti Yamauchi faces Nate Andrews.

Yamauchi (25-4-0) enters the contest riding a three fight winning streak, with those wins coming over Daniel Weichel, Saad Awad and Daron Cruickshank. Yamauchi has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and three of them came in Bellator competition. Yamauchi has picked up 20 of 25 wins by submission, with another four coming by way of decision.
Andrews (16-3-0) is making his Bellator debut in this fight and he is also the current CES MMA lightweight champion. Andrews is the aforementioned CES MMA lightweight champion, but he hasn’t defended the gold since January of 2019. Andrews also hasn’t competed in over a year, with his last bout taking place in October of 2019.
Bellator 254 takes place on Thursday, December 10 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Ilima-Lei Macfarlane and Juliana Velasquez headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the CBS Sports Network.
