Report: Ian Heinisch Steps In At UFC Fight Night Buenos Aires

Tom Breese has suffered an injury and has been pulled from UFC Fight Night Buenos Aires according to Combate, replacing him against Cezar Ferreira is Ian Heinisch.

Ferreira (13-6-0) enters the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, having defeated the duo of Nate Marquardt and Karl Roberson. Ferreira hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost two years, with that last loss coming to Elias Theodorou at UFC Fight Night 105. Ferreira has suffered a total of six losses as a professional MMA fighter and none of those defeats have come by way of submission.

Heinisch (11-1-0) is making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so on the strength of a three fight winning streak. Heinisch did compete on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 15, defeating Justin Sumter by first round knockout. Heinisch has suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against UFC veteran Markus Perez at Legacy Fighting Alliance 22.

UFC Fight Night Beunos Aires takes place on Saturday, November 17 from Luna Park in Beunos Aires, Argentina with Santiago Ponzinibbio and Neil Magny. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
