This months UFC Fight Night Shenzhen card has taken some big hits because the duo of Jamahal Hill and Mike Grundy have been pulled from the event.

Hill, who was set to make his UFC debut on the card, has been removed from UFC Fight Night Shenzhen due to travel issues according to MMA Junkie. Da Un Jung, who was expected to face Hill on the card, is expected to be in action at the event as UFC officials are seeking a replacement for him to fight.

Grundy, who was supposed to be fighting Movsar Evloev at the event, was pulled from the card according to the Top Turtle Podcast due to an unspecified injury. Evloev is also expected to remain on the card at this time, as UFC officials are seeking a replacement for him to fight.

There is just over a week before the event takes place, so UFC officials do not have a lot of time to find replacement opponents for Jung and Evloev.

UFC Fight Night Shenzhen takes place on Saturday, August 31 from the Universiade Sports Centre in Shenzhen, China with Jessica Andrade and Weili Zhang headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
