Report: Jeremy Stephens Removed From UFC Vegas 13 With Injury

Jeremy Stephens has suffered an undisclosed injury and has been pulled from UFC Vegas 13, where he was scheduled to fight Arnold Allen.

MMA Junkie first reported the news. Allen is expected to remain on the card at this time, as UFC officials are seeking a replacement for him to face.

Allen (16-1-0) has already picked up seven wins under the UFC banner with notable victories coming over Makwan AmirkhaniMads BurnellGilbert Melendez and Nik Lentz. Allen enters the contest riding a nine fight winning streak and he has not been defeated in well over six years. Allen has competed 17 times as a professional MMA fighter and eight of those encounters went the distance.

UFC Vegas 13 takes place on Saturday, November 7 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Thiago Santos and Glover Teixeira headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
