A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to the recently announced UFC card on September 26 as Jessica-Rose Clark faces Sarah Alpar.
MMA Fighting first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Clark (9-6-0-1NC) enters the contest riding a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Jessica Eye and Pannie Kianzad. Clark hasn’t picked up a victory in almost three years, with her last win coming at UFC Fight Night St. Louis in January of 2018. Clark has competed a total of sixteen times as a professional MMA fighter and twelve of those bouts went the distance.
Alpar (9-4-0) is going to be making her UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a three fight winning streak. Alpar competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 8, defeating Shanna Young by second round submission. Alpar has picked up a total of nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came by way of decision.
The recently announced UFC card takes place on Saturday, September 26 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
