Petr Yan finally has an opponent for UFC Fight Night Moscow according to Ariel Helwani of ESPN as Jin Soo Son has agreed to replace Douglas Silva De Andrade on short notice.
Yan (9-1-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Teruto Ishihara by first round TKO at UFC Fight Night Singapore (2018). Yan is also a former Absolute Championship Berkut Bantamweight Champion, defeating Magomed Magomedov at ACB 57 to claim the gold. Yan also enters the contest while in the midst of a four fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over two years.
Son (9-2-0) is making his UFC debut in this fight and does so on the strength of a four bout winning streak. Son is also going to be fighting outside of the Deep promotion for the first time in almost four years and he holds a record of 7-2-0 in the organization. Son has suffered two defeats as a professional MMA fighter and both of those losses have come by way of decision.
