Report: Joe Schilling vs. Curtis Millender Off Bellator 249

MMA

This Thursday Night’s Bellator 249 card will go on with one less bout because a welterweight division attraction between Joe Schilling and Curtis Millender has been pulled from the event.

MMA Junkie reports that the encounter was pulled from Bellator 249 after the Mohegan Tribe Department Of Athletic Regulation denied Schilling a license to fight, although no reason has been given as to why Schilling was denied the license to fight.

Millender has also reportedly been pulled from the card since Bellator officials didn’t have enough time to find a replacement opponent. There is no word yet as to whether or not the bout will get rescheduled or if the fighters will go their separate ways.

Bellator 249 takes place on Thursday, October 16 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Cris Cyborg and Arlene Blencowe headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the CBS Sports Network.
