Jorge Gonzalez has been pulled from UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar, replacing him against Ike Villanueva is Jordan Wright.

Villanueva (16-10-0) is currently winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a fight to Chase Sherman at UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Teixeira. His last win came at Fury FC 40 in December 2019. Villanueva has picked up 16 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 13 are by KO/TKO.
Wright (10-0-0-1NC) is making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so with a nearly six-year-long undefeated streak. Wright competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 10, fighting Anthony Hernandez to a no contest. Wright has competed 11 times as a professional MMA fighter and has yet to see the scorecards.
UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar takes place on Saturday, August 22 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pedro Munhoz vs. Frankie Edgar headlines the card. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
