Mackenzie Dern had previously competed in the Legacy Fighting Alliance and now her training partner will get an opportunity.
That’s because a report from MMA Fighting is stating that the promotion has signed undefeated professional MMA fighter and Dern training partner Tabatha Ricci.
Ricci (2-0-0) is undefeated as a professional MMA fighter, with those wins coming over the two pack of Danielle Cunha and Graziele Ricotta. Ricci hasn’t competed in over five years, with her last bout coming at Braziilian Fighting Championship 4 in October of 2014. Ricci has picked up the aforementioned two wins as a professional MMA fighter, with one coming by way of submission and the other coming by way of decision. Ricci, who is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu brown belt and a judo black belt, has no amateur MMA experience to speak of.
The fighter is expected to make her promotional debut next month, but no date or opponent have been revealed at this time.
