A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Auckland as Magomed Mustafaev faces Brad Riddell.
MMA Junkie (citing reporter Igor Lazorin) reported the bout, its placement on the card isn’t known at this time.
Mustafaev (14-2-0) has won three of four under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Piotr Hallman, Joe Proctor and Rafael Fiziev. Mustafaev has suffered a single defeat thus far in UFC competition and that came to Kevin Lee at UFC Fight Night 99. Mustafaev has competed a total of sixteen times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those encounters went the distance.
Riddell (7-1-0) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, having defeated Jamie Mullarkey by unanimous decision at UFC 243. Riddell has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Abel Brites at Hex Fight Series 15 in July of 2018. Riddell has picked up seven wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night Auckland takes place on Saturday, February 22 from the Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
