A middleweight division attraction is the latest addition to UFC 249 as Makhmud Muradov is in action against Karl Roberson.
MMA Junkie reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Muradov (24-6-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having picked up victories over Alessio Di Chirico and Trevor Smith. Muradov enters the bout riding a thirteen fight winning streak and he hasn’t been defeated in over three years. Muradov has picked up twenty four wins as a professional MMA fighter and sixteen of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Roberson (9-2-0) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Wellington Turman and Roman Kopylov. Roberson competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 3, defeating Ryan Spann by first round knockout. Roberson has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both of them came by way of submission.
UFC 249 takes place on Saturday, April 18 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
