Report: Max Rohskopf Steps In At UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Volkov

Austin Hubbard needed a new opponent for UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Volkov after the withdrawal of Joe Solecki and now he has one as Max Rohskopf has accepted the short notice opportunity.

MMA Junkie first reported the news and the bout is still expected to be a part of the preliminary card.

Hubbard (11-4-0) has won just one of three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Kyle Prepolec at UFC Fight Night Vancouver. Hubbard is a former LFA Lightweight Champion, defeating Killys Mota to win the gold at LFA 56 in December of 2018. Hubbard has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and three of them came by way of KO/TKO.

Rohskopf (5-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over two years. Rohskopf has competed three times in the Final Fight Championship promotion, where he defeated Bellator MMA veteran Zach Zane. Rohskopf has earned five wins as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came by way of submission.

UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Volkov takes place on Saturday, June 20 from a location to be announced with Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
