A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Lincoln as Ovince St. Preux faces Shamil Gamzatov.
Vestnik MMA first reported the bout, but its spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
St. Preux (24-13-0) has won two of his last five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Tyson Pedro and Michal Oleksiejczuk. St. Preux has previously fought for the UFC Interim Light Heavyweight Title, losing to Jon Jones by unanimous decision at UFC 197. St. Preux has suffered thirteen losses as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them came by way of submission.
Gamzatov (14-0-0) has already picked up one victory in the UFC, which came over Klidson Abreu at UFC Fight Night Moscow. Gamzatov is undefeated thus far as a professional MMA fighter and that streak has lasted over eight years. Gamzatov has competed a total of fourteen times as a professional MMA fighter and just four of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night Lincoln takes place on Saturday, April 25 from the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska with Anthony Smith and Glover Teixeira headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
