UFC fighter Rachael Ostovich was recently attacked and suffered a broken orbital bone in the process, with that attacker allegedly being her husband, Arnold Berdon, who is also a professional MMA fighter.
TMZ obtained a temporary restraining order document, which shows that Berdon repeatedly hit Ostovich during the attack, according to Ostovich:
“After a night out with family, (Arnold Berdon) punched me repeatedly on the head, face, ribs, making me fall to the ground. I gasped for breath and escaped thru (sic) balcony. I coughed up blood, threw up sev. times. Cracked orbital.”
The report from TMZ also says that this wasn’t the first time that Berdon allegedly attacked Ostovich, citing May 6 of this year as another date in which the UFC star was allegedly attacked. The May 6 attack left bruises on the legs of Ostovich after she was allegedly punched repeatedly by Berdon.
Berdon is currently being held in a Honolulu jail after being arrested for suspicion of second degree attempted murder, but he has yet to be formally charged with any crime.
Besides that damage that was done to Ostovich during the attack, a scheduled bout with Paige VanZant has been pulled from the UFC Fight Night Brooklyn card this January.
