A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Moscow according to MMA Fighting as Ramazan Emeev is going to be in action against Claudio Silva.
Emeev (17-3-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated the duo of Sam Alvey and Alberto Mina. Emeev enters the contest on the strength of a six fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost four years. Emeev is a former two time M-1 Challenge Welterweight Champion, defeating UFC veterans Mario Miranda and Luigi Fioravanti to start both reigns.
Silva (12-1-0) is also undefeated thus far during his tenure in the UFC, with his victories coming over Brad Scott, Leon Edwards and Nordine Taleb. Silva’s lone loss as a professional MMA fighter came in his pro MMA debut against Matt Thorpe at Ultimate Warrior Challenge 5. Silva has only competed once in the last three-plus years, which came against the aforementioned Taleb at UFC Fight Night Liverpool.
UFC Fight Night Moscow takes place on Saturday, September 15 from the Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russia with Mark Hunt and Alexey Oleinik headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
