A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs. Burns as Roosevelt Roberts faces Brok Weaver.
Fight Bananas first reported the fight, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Roberts (9-1-0) has won three of four in the UFC, with those wins coming over Darrell Horcher, Thomas Gifford and Alexander Yakovlev. Roberts has suffered a single loss as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Vinc Pichel at UFC Fight Night Minneapolis. Roberts also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 15, defeating Garrett Gross by second round submission.
Weaver (15-4-0) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, having defeated Rodrigo Vargas by DQ at UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho. Weaver competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 8, defeating Devyn Smith by unanimous decision. Weaver has picked up fifteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them came by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs. Burns takes place on Saturday, May 30 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Tyron Woodley and Gilbert Burns headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
