Ryan Scope has suffered an injury and has been pulled from the upcoming Bellator MMA Europe 2 card, where he was scheduled for a co-main event fight against Derek Campos.

Scope reported the news himself through Instagram, but did not provide such information as the exact nature of the injury of when the fighter expects to return to action. Campos is expected to remain on the card, as Bellator MMA officials are seeking a replacement opponent for him to fight.

Campos (19-8-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Patricky Freire and Sam Sicilia. Campos hasn’t earned a victory in nearly two years, with that last win coming at Bellator 181 in July of 2017. Campos has seen eleven of his professional MMA bouts go the distance, with the fighter winning eight of those encounters.

Bellator MMA Europe 2 takes place on Saturday, May 4 from the Resort World Arena in Birmingham, England with Brent Primus and Tim Wilde headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on the Bellator app.
