A women’s featherweight division bout has been added to Bellator 207 according to MMA Fighting as Sinead Kavanagh faces Janay Harding.
Kavanagh (5-2-0) has won two of four fights under the Bellator MMA banner, having defeated the duo of Elina Kallionidou and Maria Casanova. Kavanagh also competed in the BAMMA promotion, where she picked up two of three wins by way of KO/TKO. Kavanagh also won three of five as an amateur MMA fighter, with one loss coming to UFC veteran and now retired fighter Anna Elmose.
Harding (3-4-0) is currently winless in Bellator MMA competition, having dropped a bout via unanimous decision to Amber Leibrock at Bellator 199. Harding has suffered four defeats as a professional MMA fighter and all of those losses came to veterans of both the UFC and/or Bellator MMA. Harding hasn’t picked up a win in well over a year, with that last victory coming over Ramona Pascual at Fight Factory Gym E-1 in May of 2017.
Bellator 207 takes place on Friday, October 12 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Ryan Bader and Matt Mitrione headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
