A trio of fights have been added to the upcoming Bellator 251 card as Austin Vanderford faces Chris Curtis, Tyrell Fortune faces Said Sowma and Derek Anderson faces Killys Mota.
ESPN first reported Vanderford/Curtis, while MMA Junkie first reported the remaining two fights.
Vanderford (9-0-0) is competing for the first time in almost a year, as his last bout happened in November of 2019. Curtis (22-8-0) is making his Bellator debut in this bout, but he has held titles in CES MMA, Z Promotions and Premier MMA Championship.
Fortune (8-1-0-1NC) is looking for his first win in almost a year, with his last victory coming at Bellator 233 in November of 2019. Sowma (4-1-0) is making his Bellator debut in this bout and he is also a former Titan FC heavyweight champion.
Anderson (16-3-0-1NC) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, having defeated Zak Bucia and Guilherme Vasconcelos. Mota (12-1-0) is undefeated thus far under the Bellator banner, having defeated Mandel Nallo by third round TKO at Bellator 231.
Bellator 251 takes place on Thursday, November 5 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Corey Anderson and Melvin Manhoef headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the CBS Sports Network.
