Report: Three Fights Added To UFC Fight Night Rochester, Patrick Cummins In Action

A featherweight division attraction has been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night Rochester card according to the Democrat & Chronicle as Mike Trizano faces Grant Dawson, Patrick Cummins faces Ed Herman and Trevin Giles faces Zak Cummings.

Trizano (8-0-0) has already picked up two wins under the UFC banner, with those victories coming over the duo of Joe Giannetti and Luis Pena. Trizano also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 28, defeating Thai Clark and John Gunther on the reality show.

Dawson (13-1-0) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, having defeated Julian Erosa by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Wichita. Dawson also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 6, defeating Adrian Diaz by second round submission.

Cummins (10-6-0) enters the contest on a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Corey Anderson and Misha Cirkunov. Cummins hasn’t picked up a win in almost two years, with that last win coming over Gian Villante at UFC On Fox 25.

Herman (23-14-0-1NC) enters the contest while on a three fight losing streak and he hasn’t earned a victory in over three years. Herman competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 3, but lost in the finals of the reality show to Kendall Grove.

Giles (11-0-0) has already earned two wins in UFC competition, defeating the duo of James Bochnovic and Antonio Braga Neto. Giles is still undefeated as a professional MMA fighter and that streak has lasted over five years now.

Cummings (22-6-0) has won three of his last four in the UFC, last defeating Trevor Smith by decision at UFC On Fox 31. Cummings has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to be beaten by way of submission.

UFC Fight Night Rochester takes place on Saturday, May 18 from the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
