A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Aldana as Trevin Giles faces Jun Yong Park.
MMA Junkie reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Giles (12-2-0) has won three of five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over James Bochnovic, Antonio Braga Neto and James Krause. Giles has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both came during UFC competition. Giles has competed a total of fourteen times as a professional MMA fighter and two of those bouts went the distance.
Park (11-4-0) has won just one of two in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Marc-Andre Barriault at UFC Fight Night Busan. Park has picked up eleven wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came by way of KO/TKO. Park went winless as an amateur MMA fighter, with those losses coming to Magomed Shakhrudinov and Gamzat Khiramagomedov.
UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Aldana takes place on Saturday, August 1 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Holly Holm and Irene Aldana headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
