A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC 257 as Nasrat Haqparast faces Arman Tsarukyan.

Haqparast (12-3-0) has won four of six in the UFC, with those wins coming over Marc Diakiese, Thibault Gouti, Joaquim Silva and Alex Munoz. Haqparast is winless when competing at UFC pay-per-view cards, having dropped a bout to Drew Dober at UFC 246. Haqparast has picked up nine of 12 wins by KO/TKO, with the rest coming by way of submission.
Tsarukyan (15-2-0) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, picking up wins over Olivier Aubin-Mercier and Davi Ramos. Tsarukyan has competed three times in the UFC thus far and all of those encounter went to the judges scorecards. Tsarukyan hasn’t been defeated in over a year, with his last loss coming to Islam Makhachev at UFC Fight Night St. Petersburg.
UFC 257 takes place on Saturday, January 23 from a location to be announced with Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
