A lightweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 229 according to Sherdog as Vladimir Tokov is in action against Brandon Hastings.
Tokov (4-0-0) has already picked up one win under the Bellator MMA banner, defeating Ryan Walker by unanimous decision at Bellator 218. Tokov has competed a total of four times as a professional MMA fighter and half of those encounters went the distance. Tokov has competed the aforementioned four times as a professional MMA fighter and all four bouts came in different promotions.
Hastings (6-3-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so having won just two of the last five bouts. Hastings has competed nine times as a professional MMA fighter and none of his bouts have gone to the judges scorecards. Hastings was last seen in action at Legacy Fighting Alliance 69, defeating Jose Campos by unanimous decision.
Bellator 229 takes place on Friday, October 4 from the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, California with Andrey Koreshkov and Lorenz Larkin headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
