"Suga" Sean O'Malley and Pedro Munhoz are scheduled to clash at UFC 276 on July 2 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
ESPN's Brett Okamoto reported the news of the matchup being in the works, although it seems the UFC's summer slate accidentally got leaked on UFC President Dana White's recent appearance on The Pivot Podcast, which is where the fight was first confirmed. However, the promotion itself has yet to confirm anything regarding the event or booking. O'Malley will make his first Octagon appearance in 2022, after going 3-0 in 2021. He defeated Raulian Paiva via a first-round TKO at UFC 269 in his last fight. Munhoz meanwhile is 1-4 in his last five outings and will try to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to former UFC bantamweight champion, Dominick Cruz, also back at UFC 269.
