A pair of title bouts are going to headline the upcoming Cage Warriors 103 card as featherweight champion Dean Trueman defends the gold against Soren Bak and Nicolas Dalby faces Alex Lohore for the vacant interim welterweight title.
Trueman (10-4-0) is making the first defense of his championship, which the fighter won by defeating Aiden Lee at Cage Warriors 100. Trueman enters the contest on the strength of a three fight winning streak and hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost two years.
Bak (11-1-0) is the former Cage Warriors Lightweight Champion and he relinquished the title to challenge Trueman for the featherweight strap. Bak has picked up eleven wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them have come by way of submission.
Dalby (16-3-1) enters the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, with those victories coming by TKO and submission. Dalby won just one of four during his run with the UFC, with that lone victory coming over Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos at UFC Fight Night 67.
Lohore (17-3-0) comes into the title fight on a three bout winning streak and he is undefeated in Cage Warriors competition. Lohore fought a total of five times last year and he picked up wins in three of those five encounters.
Cage Warriors 103 takes place on Saturday, March 9 from a location to be announced in Copenhagen, Denmark with Dean Trueman and Sorek Bak headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
