Valentina Shevchenko remains UFC women's flyweight champion with a unanimous decision win over Jennifer Maia at UFC 255.
Shevchenko was challenged more than her usual title defense; however, she still secured four rounds against the challenger on Saturday. Take a look below at the highlights.
Valentina Shevchenko def. Jennifer Maia (no. 3) by unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 49-46) to retain the UFC women's flyweight title
Maia had the doubters worried after controlling Shevchenko for the majority of round two; however, it was Shevchenko who continued to build on her legacy. "Bullet" controlled the grappling in rounds one, three and four before throwing just about every strike in her arsenal at a bloody Maia in round five.
