UFC Fight Night Tampa: Buckley vs. Covington Results, Highlights

Ricky Simon def. Gaetano Pirrello by submission via arm-triangle-choke (4:00, R2)

Simon finds himself back on a winning streak after tapping out Pirrello in the final minute of round two.

Su Mudaerji def. Zarrukh Adashev via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

Mudaerji took inspiration from Max Holloway, earning himself a unanimous decision win against Adashev on Wednesday morning.

Dalcha Lungiambula def. Markus Perez via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Perez had his moments, but the power and pressure of Lungiambula was too much to handle as the winning fighter was awarded two of the three rounds.

Francisco Figueiredo def. Jerome Rivera via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Newcomer Figueiredo did right by his older brother, the reigning UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo. It was a tough outing vs. Rivera, but one that favored the Brazilian victor.

Mike Davis def. Mason Jones via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Davis and Jones most likely guaranteed themselves a Fight of the Night bonus with an incredible 15-minute scap. Both men landed a variety of impactful strikes and rattled off impressive combos for three hard rounds.

Umar Nurmagomedov def. Sergey Morozov by submission via rear-naked-choke (3:39, R2)

Nurmagomedov (13-0) made cornerman Khabib Nurmagomedov proud, and extended his undefeated record, after choking Morozov unconcious in round two.

Manon Fiorot def. Victoria Leonardo via TKO (4:08, R2)

Fiorot made good on her regional potential, making certain that Leonardo did not make it to her corner inbetween rounds two and three.
