A fight with major ramifications on the UFC welterweight division headlines UFC on Fox 21, taking place from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada.
In the main event, Carlos Condit takes on Demian Maia. Condit (30-9) is a former WEC welterweight champ and held the UFC interim title in the 170-pound class. Maia (23-6) is on a five-fight win streak. Maia is fourth in the current UFC welterweight rankings, with Condit fifth.
Another high-profile bout will see the debut at 145 pounds for former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, who takes on Carlos Oliveira. Will Pettis, who has lost three fights in a row, be able to turn around his career in a lighter weight class or will Oliveira make for a rude welcome to the featherweight division for Pettis?
