UFC Issues Farewell To Mark Hunt After UFC Fight Night Adelaide

MMA

Mark Hunt competed on the main card of UFC Fight Night Adelaide, suffering a unanimous decision loss to Justin Willis.

The bout will most likely serve as Hunt’s final one for the UFC, as he has been embroiled in a legal battle with the MMA organization since UFC 200.

Hunt has been battling the UFC, UFC President Dana White and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar through the legal system after suing them for charges of racketeering, fraud and conspiracy.

If Hunt’s run with the UFC has officially come to a close, it would leave the fighter with an 8-8-1-1NC mark in the organization. Hunt picked up notable victories over Ben Rothwell, Cheick Kongo, Stefan Struve, Roy Nelson, Antonio Silva, Frank Mir and Derrick Lewis while in the UFC.

There is no word yet from Hunt on where he may fight at next, but the fighter is expected to get some big offers from Bellator MMA, Rizin, One Championship and other promotions.
