The Miz has regained the Intercontinental championship for the eighth time.

He defeated Roman Reigns tonight during Raw 25 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Here are the final moments of the match, provided by our live coverage:

Miz goes for the Skull Crushing Finale and Reigns counters with a superman punch for a near fall, Reigns sets up for the spear and Dallas distracts him so Miz can land a clothesline. The referee gets angry and he throws The Miztourage out of the ringside area, Reigns rolls up a distracted Miz for a near fall. Miz then hits a distracted Reigns with a Skull Crushing Finale for a near fall, Miz goes for another Skull Crushing Finale and Reigns breaks free. Miz sends a charging Reigns into an exposed corner before landing the Skull Crushing Finale for the three count.

By winning the title for the eighth time, The Miz is now only one more title reign away from tying Chris Jericho's record of nine title wins. He already holds the record for having the longest reign in terms of total combined days at 522.

Roman Reigns held the title for 63 days, defeating the Miz back on the November 20, 2017 edition of Raw.
